Pandemic Preventive Measures for 2022 Taipei International Book Exhibition

  • Please always wear face masks in the fairground.
  • Food and drink are forbidden in the fairground, except for drinking water when social distance is maintained.
  • Please install Taiwan Social Distancing mobile app and turn on Bluetooth feature.
  • If you are banned by Central Epidemic Command Center to attend public gatherings, tested positive, over 37.5°C in body temperature, or having suspected symptoms, please refrain from entering the venue.

 

  1. TIBE Pandemic Preventive Measures

 

  1. TIBE has set up a response team. Contact: 02-2767-1268 for Mr. Huang or Ms. Sun.
  2. Prioritize staffs who have taken three doses of COVID-19 vaccines, or who have taken two doses at least 14 days before the event. Staffs without vaccine records shall provide negative rapid test results within one day before the first day of service, or negative PCR test results within three days before the first day of service.
  3. All staffs always wear face masks.
  4. All staffs shall install Taiwan Social Distancing mobile app and turn on Bluetooth feature.
  5. Venue disinfection and ventilation
5-1 Venue lobbies, toilets, corridors, elevators, escalators, and other public areas are irregularly wiped every day.
5-2 In Theme Square and event salons, microphones are disinfected between events.
5-3 Interactive devices are disinfected between user groups.
5-4 Tables and chairs at lounges and event areas are disinfected regularly.
5-5 Public areas are cleaned and disinfected after the venue closes every day.
5-6 Fresh air ventilation takes place every two hours in the fairground.

 

  1. Add more traffic corridors and widen distances between areas.
  2. Full-body disinfection gates are installed at six entrances on the first floor and one entrance on the second floor.
  3. Access control at entrance. People over 37.5°C in body temperature are banned from entering.
  4. Hand sanitizers and disinfectants are provided at all entrances, main corridors, event areas, and theme pavilions.
  5. Personal protective equipment, including face masks, hand sanitizers, face shields, and gloves, is provided to all exhibitors.
  6. Face masks and gloves are offered to all visitors at entrance.

 
B. Exhibitor Pandemic Preventive Measures

  1. Prioritize staffs who have taken three doses of COVID-19 vaccines, or who have taken two doses at least 14 days before the event. Staffs without vaccine records shall provide negative rapid test results within one day before the first day of service, or negative PCR test results within three days before the first day of service.
  2. All staffs always wear face masks.
  3. All staffs shall install Taiwan Social Distancing mobile app and turn on Bluetooth feature.
  4. Compile staff lists. People who are banned by Central Epidemic Command Center to attend public gatherings, or tested positive shall refrain from entering the venue. Monitor and document daily health conditions. People who feel unwell shall refrain from entering the venue.
  5. Exhibitors pledge to abide by pandemic preventive measures, specify contact person(s), and check vaccine records or test results.
  6. Offer hand sanitizers at the booth, and prepare face masks, disinfection covers, and other relevant appliances.
  7. Disinfect booths after the venue closes every day. Additional disinfection processes are needed at cashier and other areas of frequent contacts.
  8. Eat or drink is only allowed in designated areas in the venue, or in warehouses in booths.

 C. Visitor Requirements

  1. Visitors should always wear face masks.
  2. If you are banned by Central Epidemic Command Center to attend public gatherings, tested positive, over 37.5°C in body temperature, or having suspected symptoms, please refrain from entering the venue.
  3. Visitors are encouraged to install Taiwan Social Distancing mobile app and turn on Bluetooth feature.
  4. Please eat or drink at restaurants and lounge areas on the second floor.
