The 2022 Taipei International Book Exhibition’s Key Vision: The Infinite Imagination of Reading Transcends the Pandemic

The 30th annual Taipei International Book Exhibition’s key vision was designed by well-known curator AKIBO (李明道), and echoes the 2022 TIBE’s English slogan of “Reading and Publishing beyond the Pandemic.”
AKIBO’s design concept is rising above the pandemic’s variety of struggles through books, just as in a scene of bibliophiles freely stretching their reading wings to fly into the sky. The thirtieth anniversary logo features a determined reader walking out of a frame as a symbol of the attitude and power of reading. The key vision is expressed through unrestricted hand-painted style paired with lively contrasting hues of blue and yellow, representing freedom, energy, and hopes for the future.
Celebrating the TIBE’s 30th anniversary, the exhibition has been moved to the summer season for the first time ever, and will be held from June 2nd to 7th, 2022. The Guest of Honor country is France. Everyone is invited to enjoy the fun of reading!
