TIBE 2027 Rights Center Reservation Now Open until October 30 (Fri)

2026/09/04

The Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE) warmly welcomes international publishers, literary agents, and rights professionals to join us again in Taipei for TIBE 2027.

Please note that the TIBE Rights Center is a non-public business area designed primarily for rights professionals who already have prospective clients, business contacts, or pre-arranged meetings.

If your main objective is to meet new visitors, generate walk-in business opportunities, or increase public exposure, we recommend booking a booth in the International Zone on the 1st-floor exhibition hall, which offers greater visibility and access to a wider range of visitors and industry professionals.

This year, two types of rights tables are available:

  • Premium Rights Table (with partition walls) – limited availability. Recommended for agencies or publishers looking for a more private meeting space.
  • Regular Rights Table – standard open meeting table.

After completing your registration through the English online registration system, please reply to the confirmation email from the Rights Center contact person and let us know which table type you prefer.

Your selection will be used to confirm the applicable fee and arrange your table assignment.

Please find below the services and benefits available to overseas Rights Center participants for TIBE 2027.

1. Shared Storage Area

Opening Hours: Same as Rights Center operating hours

Location: Common area inside the Rights Center

A shared storage area will be available inside the Rights Center for participants to temporarily store sample books, catalogues, and meeting materials between sessions.

Participants who do not have consecutive meeting sessions may use this area instead of carrying their materials throughout the day.

After completing all meetings, participants are also welcome to donate sample copies to public libraries in Taiwan by leaving them on the designated shelves and informing Rights Center staff.

Please note that the storage area is a shared and open space. Please keep valuables and personal belongings with you at all times. We also recommend clearly labeling your materials and collecting them before the Rights Center closes each day.

2. Book Handling Service for Overseas Participants

Eligibility: Participants booking 4 sessions or more (equivalent to at least 2 full days)

To make preparation easier for overseas participants, the Taipei Book Fair Foundation will provide a book handling service for meeting materials sent to Taiwan in advance.

Procedure

  • In November, eligible participants will receive detailed instructions, including:
  • Delivery deadline and accepted materials
  • Recipient address and contact information
  • Participants may send sample books, catalogues, name cards, and other meeting materials to the Foundation by the designated deadline. All shipping costs must be paid by the participant.
  • After the materials are received, the Foundation will confirm receipt by email and place them in the storage compartment assigned to the participant’s rights table before the first meeting session.
  • From the second meeting session onward, participants will be responsible for arranging and managing their own materials.
3. Exhibitor and Professional Passes

Rights table participants are considered TIBE exhibitors and will be listed in the Official Exhibitor Catalogue.

Each participating organization may receive up to 4 Exhibitor Passes, depending on the number of registered users. Additional team members, starting from the 5th person, will receive Professional Passes.

Exhibitor Pass

  • Provides unlimited access to the exhibition halls throughout the six-day fair.
  • Entry hours:
  • February 16 (Tue): from 9:00 AM
  • February 17–21 (Wed–Sun): from 9:30 AM

Professional Pass

  • Entry from 10:00 AM daily, February 16–21, the same as general visitors.

Please note that registration and badge collection procedures for Rights Center participants will follow separate Rights Center announcements and instructions.

Rights Center badges are managed separately from the general exhibitor and professional registration system for the main exhibition halls and cannot be duplicated or reissued through the general system.

For access control purposes, badges issued to Rights Center participants will include a special Rights Center mark for identification when entering and leaving the Rights Center.

4. Limited Accommodation Benefit for Overseas Participants

Overseas publishing agencies and rights professionals booking 4 sessions or more (equivalent to at least 2 full days) may be eligible for one complimentary hotel room for up to 2 nights during the fair period.

Please note that complimentary rooms are limited and are not guaranteed. If the number of eligible participants exceeds the available room quota, accommodation will be offered based on the order in which Rights Center table reservations were completed.

  • Check-out by:February 19 (Fri)
  • Participants may indicate their preferred stay dates within this period according to their meeting schedule.
  • Room type (single or twin) cannot be selected or guaranteed.

Step 2: Please complete and return the accommodation registration form by the stated deadline.

Step 3: Accommodation is expected to be arranged at a business hotel near MRT Station, which is convenient to commute to Hall 1, TWTC. Please note that the designated hotel for TIBE 2027 will be different from the hotel arranged for TIBE 2026.
