This company was established in 1948 as a publisher of books for teachers, especially elementary school textbooks. We have published many remarkable books, for example, The Structure of Learning (1975), The Perfect Guidebook to Every Lesson Period (Japanese Language, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science,Foreign Languages, P.E., Moral Education, and Life and Environmental Studies), The Portable and Readable Classroom Management series, and books for the Ministry of Education,Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). At present,we have over 1800 different titles available.We have also published nine periodical journals, including Elementary Education (Ministry of Education, 1950-), Science Education Monthly (Society of Japan Science Teaching, 1952-), Elementary Mathematics Teaching Today (Society of Elementary Mathematics Education, 1972), Studies on Special Needs Education(Association for Research into Special Needs Education,2009-).Our mission is to assist all diligent teachers. We continue to assist teachers in every field through the publication of a multitude of titles focusing on areas from practical teaching to academic studies.
