The independent Libella publishing group has gradually grown up around imprints endowed with a strong identity. In France, it gathers Buchet Chastel, Noir sur Blanc, Phébus, Libretto, Les Cahiers dessinés, Delpire, Photosynthèses as well as the Polish Bookshop, based in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Also settled in Poland, it now gathers Noir sur Blanc and Favre publishing house in Lausanne, and Oficyna Literackie in Warsaw. It has strong connections with Wydawnictwo Literackie in Krakow. If Libella by the uniqueness of its editorial offer (French and translated fiction, travel writing, essays, non-fiction, music and environment) publishes contemporary authors, it also attaches much values to the modern classic writers who built its reputation in the past.
