Kommode Verlag was founded in Zurich in 2010 and is an independent publishing house.The focus of the programme is on narrative non-fiction, which creates a stimulating field of tension in the areas of people and the environment, philosophy or psychology, providing an impetus for new perspectives rather than ready-made answers to complex questions. The programme also includes fiction from Switzerland and translations from the most diverse regions of the world. The focus is on relevant and topical issues that promote discourse on the diversity of society.
