Launched in 1967, the Illustrators Exhibition is a central feature of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, a reference point for the entire children’s book industry. Each year, some 2,500 artists join the competition and 70/80 artists would be selected. The result is a unique exhibition presenting already successful artists and also very young artists making their first appearance on the international stage. For the 2020 edition, 76 artists chosen for the exhibition come from 24 different countries and regions. Among them are 6 Taiwanese illustrators: Yashin, Luwen Ting, HsiaoChi Chang, Meng-Hsuan Kuan, Chien Yu Lin and Yedda Chen.
