The Belgium Pavilion (A1209) is organized jointly by the Belgian Taipei Office and Wallonia-Brussels International (WBI). The pavilion highlights new titles and recommends the exhibition of key graphic publications from five publishing units, including CotCotCot Éditions, Courgettes éditions, Du Noir Sous les Ongles, Maison Autrique, and Versant Sud Jeunesse. Additionally, renowned illustrators Anne Crahay and comic artist Dimitri Piot are invited to visit Taiwan and engage in exchanges with readers and creators.







Anne Crahay
After studying graphic design at ESA Saint-Luc Liège (Belgium), Anne Crahay worked in animated films and graphics studios. A recipient of Brussels-Wallonia Federation creation support grant in 2010, she teaches drawing and illustration at ESA Saint-Luc Liège. Since 2007 Anne Crahay has written some twenty books published by Élan vert, Albin Michel, and CotCotCot éditions. Her books are regularly translated in China, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Denmark, Italy, and Spain.






Dimitri Piot
Dimitri Piot is a Belgian comic artist and illustrator who has experienced a large variety of topics with his various graphical talents, from portraits of circus artists, Japanese ukiyo-e paintings, stage scenic designs or the imagined biography of the mystical ukiyo-e master Toshusai Sharaku.
