The Thai Pavilion, organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) through the Thai Trade Center (Taipei) and in collaboration with the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT), presents the annual theme of "Borderless." Inviting readers on a literary journey beyond cultural boundaries, the pavilion immerses visitors in the diverse tapestry of Thai culture and literature. Stories traverse traditional, modern, and imaginative landscapes, incorporating elements of the popular IP character WARBIE YAMA to infuse vibrancy into the Thai booth.

Featuring 22 prominent Thai publishing houses, the pavilion showcases around 350 books from various publishers, independent presses, and authors. The selection includes highlighted books under the theme "Boundless" and welcomes three Southeast Asian Literature Award winners to TIBE for readers’ engagement.

Additionally, five interactive reader events featuring popular BL (Boys Love) novelists and graphic creators are scheduled during the exhibition. The opening ceremony of the Thai Pavilion will have the endorsement of Gail Sophicha, known as the "National Sister" in Thailand. Throughout the exhibition, a collaborative event with the Taiwan Creative Content Agency will host a IP Pitching Forum & Matchmaking Event, promoting Thai original story adaptation into film and television.

Main event at Theme Square 'Family Comes First: Love and Pain in Overseas Chinese Families in Thai literary scene' presented by three S.E.A. write Laureates from Thailand."Family Comes First: Love and Pain in Overseas Chinese Families in the Thai Literary Scene" aims to explore the impact of the way of life, traditions, and beliefs within overseas Chinese families on the lives of authors and how these influences are depicted in their literary works. It will delve into the shared love-and-pain dynamics prevalent in both Thai and Taiwanese families, providing a connection that may resonate with Taiwanese readers with borderless impressions.







Narispongse Rakwattananont

2023 S.E.A. Write laureate from Family Comes First, A writer who won biggest award in his first debut. Now working in Japan, he is looking forward to writing his new novel.







Veeraporn Nitiprapha
2015 and 2018 S.E.A. Write laureate from The Blind Earthworm in the Labyrinth and Memories of the Memories of the Black Rose Cat. A prolific author with distinctive character, Veeraporn frequently appears in Thai literary limelight.







Jidanun Lueangpiansamut
2017 S.E.A. Write laureate from Rebellious Lion, the youngest author to receive the prestigious award. Jidanun is also an author (S For Ship at Sea) for many popular BL novels and the novel adaptation of Bad Genius. Author in Resident in Taiwan Artist Village.







Sa-Ard
Thai Comic artist who won silver medal in Japan International Manga Award 2011 and many awards.







Khamhom Srinok
Acclaimed translator and editor. Organizer of Lao Khamhom Master Class, a writer's training class with the National Artist in Literature.







JittiRain
One of the most well-known BL novelists in Thailand. Author of 2gether, Be my favorite, Theory of Love and other famous titles. Her novels become the best-seller of all time in Thailand while being adapted into films and series.







Patrick Rangsimant
A neurologist and BL novelist whose works are being translated into multiple languages and adapted into series like My Ride, I love you or 7 days before Valentine.
