A prizewinning literary work gaining social currency is testament to the accomplishment, confidence, and self-reflection of Taiwan’s core value. Founded in 2005 by the National Museum of Taiwan Literature, Taiwan Literature Awards is the highest—both in terms of honor and prize money—national-level literary award at present. The unique prize honors both published and as yet unpublished works, rewarding writings in Taiwan’s native tongues.
