Israeli Author: Noa Yedlin

A novelist, culture scholar, and creative writing teacher. Yedlin has published numerous opinion pieces and articles, including the essay “The Tyranny of Emotion”, which explores contemporary processes in Israeli popular culture and media, and was included in the Israeli matriculation exam. Her book, House Arrest, for which she won the Sapir Prize in 2013, spent months at the top of the bestseller list in Israel. In 2014, Yedlin was named by Haaretz Magazine one of "66 Israeli women you should know”. Yedlin was earmarked as one of the most promising voices in Israeli literature.
