Yutaka Kobayashi is a Japanese artist. The inspiration behind his paintings and picture books comes from his frequent visits to Asia and the Middle East. The warmth of the human relations is the characteristic of his works. Linking Publishing Company has published 15 picture books of Yutaka Kobayashi, including two picture books about Taiwan: Taiwan Express and The Voyage of Xiuguluan River: Far away from Home.
