Honobu Yonezawa is a mystery writer, who was inspired by Kaoru Kitamura’s Princess Rokunomiya. In 2005, his novel Goodbye, Fairy was nominated for “This Mystery is Excellent!” award as one of the 20 best fiction books of the year. He then went on to win various literary awards and the Naoki Prize, the highest honor in Japanese popular literature. The first installment of his Classic Literature Club series was published in Taiwan in 2011, and has been quite a success.
