Germany: Anja von Kampen
Anja von Kampen is a creative multi talent who has a degree in media pedagogy. She is an independent film and TV producer as well as a film director and author.
Her ability and passion to think out of the box made her dream come true. It brought her little companion Knietzsche to life, a very likeable cartoon character who thinks about varies topics of philosophy. With fun and lots of fantasy he motivates children to think independently and for themselves. In 2016, Anja von Kampen published two books in which Knietzsche played an important role: 'Knietzsche eats' a nutritional book for children, published by Umschau Verlag, and Knietzsche's much acclaimed novel debut 'Knietzsche and the pocket oracle'.
The books and TV shows with Knietzsche were awarded and nominated with various media awards.The ideas for her films, books and other projects are taken from all parts of everyday life that Anja von Kampen observes carefully. Her travels, which are a great passion of hers, privately as well as professionally, are another source of inspiration. One of her ambitions is to have travelled all countries around the world. Anja von Kampen lives in Berlin.
